Easter

I know I am very late posting about Easter, but I had some cute pictures that I wanted to share.

On Saturday the girls colored Easter eggs. I just gave them some eggs & crayons and they colored away. Here is Jaycee coloring her eggs with her most serious egg coloring face on.

Here is Brooke, posing for her Easter egg coloring shot.

"Hold your eggs up so that I can take a picture!"

Shortly after the egg coloring began, Jaycee got a brilliant idea.

"Look, an egg on a stick!"
(She had fallen on her face a couple days before this, which would explain the red, scratched-up nose.)

Sunday morning, the Easter bunny had left some goodies in our baskets. The girls were very excited about that. After church that day, we went over to my parent's house. The kids had a little Easter egg hunt & we had a delicious Easter dinner. Here are the kids after their egg hunt. From left to right there is: Brooke, Gabby, Julien, Addison, and Jaycee. Addison is upset about something! Brooke and Jaycee are mine & the other three are my brother & my sisters.

Here are Brooke and Jaycee in their Easter dresses. I love it when they match!

Jaycee got very excited when she discovered there were goodies in her egg.

We tried to get a family picture, but the kids were not having it. It didn't turn out very well, but here we are. We had a very nice day. We hope everyone else had a lovely Easter too.

  1. You guys look like you had fun and we were sad we missed it. I am jealous you guys all got to spend the holiday as a family, as usual Jeremy had to work. Maybe next Easter he will have it off. He has never seen his kids on Easter morning with all the excitement.
